The GuideLed FSL is safety light with the same design like the GuideLed Exit sign featuring a light guide and two different optics: the version with highly precise microprism optics guides the light from the ceiling to the escape route and significantly reduces the glare effect.
The version with the opaque cover has been made for wall mounting in a corridor or stair case, where the highly uniform lit output area avoids glare as well.
GuideLed FSL uses the light guide technology developed for GuideLed Exit signs which transform the punctual light of the LEDs into a fully uniform lit surface which reduces the glare in a first step. And it allows to build a very flat design.
On top of that, the FSL features a highly precise microprism cover which makes it more efficient for illuminating escape routes from the ceiling. The prisms additionally cut the beam for higher angles which can cause glare.
Thus, GuideLed FSL is a great solution for application where people need special care like in care homes where the safety lights may be used as a night light.
