Interview questions and format

During the interview we want to find out about you. We want to better understand who you are and the experience, capabilities and skills you have. To accomplish this in a short amount of time, we follow an interview process that enables you to share real-life examples with us. As we discuss your experience and the various situations you have been in, we will use the STAR method and follow the format below:

  • Situation – set the scene for what happened in your example
  • Task – describe your responsibilities in the situation
  • Action – explain the steps you took to solve the problem
  • Result – share the outcomes of the actions you took and what you learnt from the situation

Get to know the interviewers

Knowing who the interviewer is can help you understand the role this person plays in the recruitment process and in the company. In most cases, you should be given the interviewers' names when the interview is scheduled. If not, you can always ask your recruiter. Reviewing the interviewers' LinkedIn profiles will help you understand their areas of expertise and help you prepare your questions about the job.
