XI/ON I/O system

Eaton's XI/ON I/O system offers maximum flexibility for customized solutions with remote signal processing. Thanks to the modular design, installing the system is quick and easy. The compact XI/ON system can be used across a broad range of applications. The I/O system's comprehensive range of accessories includes gateway, block and slice modules that can be used to assemble the exact number of required channels. This optimizes the procurement process. In addition, the color coding of the slice modules simplifies the input and output assignment inside the control panel.

Comprehensive communication options

The XI/ON gateways cover the fieldbus systems CANopen, Profibus-DP, DeviceNet and Ethernet. The system can thus be connected to a wide variety of controllers, irrespective of the bus type.

Versatile applications

The precise calibration options of the XI/ON modules allow users to adapt the I/O system to their individual needs. This flexibility makes it possible to use the system across a broad range of applications. Thanks to the plug-in connection, installing the modules is quick and easy. This also enables fast module changes (hot swaps). The base module wiring is implemented via screw terminals or spring-cage terminals.

Comprehensive product range

The comprehensive XI/ON product range includes gateways, block modules and slice modules that can simply be plugged into the base module. The number of channels per module ranges from 1 to 32. In addition, a large variety of analog and digital modules are also available.
