The passive harmonic filter protect the connected electrical power network from the effects of line side harmonics and improve the system's interference immunity

Passive harmonic filter DX-PHF

Passive harmonic filters reduce harmonic currents (THDi) so that limits required by standards can be met.  They protect the connected electrical power network from the effects of line side harmonics and improve the system's interference immunity.  The THDi for the typical operating range can be reduced to less than 8% with a harmonic filter. The value will drop as low as 5% above speeds of 50%.

Main choke DX-LN

Mains choke damps any harmonic distortion (THD) that occurs as well as current spikes and limit inrush currents (the link capacitor's charging current). In addition, it protects the mains rectifier from voltage peaks coming from the supply mains. 
  • DX-LN1…: single-phase, max. 260 V, 50/60 Hz, 6 - 32 A
  • DX-LN3…: three-phase, max. 550 V, 50/60 Hz, 4 - 450 A

Radio interference suppression filter DX-EMC

Radio interference suppression filters damp high-frequency electromagnetic emissions from devices and appliances. They ensure that the EMC limit values for conducted interference specified in the applicable product standards are complied with (variable-frequency drives).
  • DX-EMC12-...-FSX: single-phase, 14-31A
  • DX-EMC12-...-SL: single-phase, 3-55A, super low leakage current max. 3mA
  • DX-EMC34-...-FSX: three-phase, 8-75A
  • DX-EMC34-...: three-phase, 8-750A
  • DX-EMC34-...-FSX-L: three-phase, 8-75A; low leakage current max. 6,5 mA
  • DX-EMC34-...-L: three-phase, 8-750A, low leakage current max. 8 mA
    DX-EMC34-...-SL: three-phase, 8-250A, super low leakage current max. 0,4mA
  • DX-EMC44-...-L: three-phase + neutral, 8-250A, low leakage current max. 7mA

Brake resistor DX-BR

A braking resistor converts the generator braking energy of the variable frequency drive into heat. The variable frequency drive must be equipped with a brake chopper, which connects the braking resistance parallel to the internal DC link.

  • With temperature monitoring switch, 2 - 100 Ω, 0,2 - 102,4 kW

Motor choke DX-LM3

Compensate the capacitive currents and reduce current ripple and the motor’s current change noise. Attenuate the retroaction on parallel connection of several motors.

(All pole) sine filter DX-SIN3 & DX-SIN3-A

Sine filter is used with variable frequency drives require the frequency to be set to a fixed value within a range of 4 - 8 kHz. The Sine filter DX smoothens the output voltage sinusoidally and reduces motor noise through du/dt reduction, thereby increasing the motor insulation’s lifespan.  Reduction of the leakage currents to allow better motor performance at improved EMC values.

All-pole sine filter DX-SIN3-A

  • With all-pole filters, the use of ultra-long motor cable lengths and the use of unshielded motor cables become possible 
  • Three-phase
  • 0 - 520 V, 0 - 150 Hz, 1.3 - 110 A
  • Up to 110A is for the filter, paralleling 2x110 A will result in 200 A
