Eaton’s range of accessories for 3ph UPS systems provides flexible installation options that expedite deployment and saves valuable space. The aesthetically designed accessories enable coordinated solutions that enhance both safety and reliability while reducing installation time and total cost. They are designed, manufactured and tested according to relevant standards.

Eaton battery cabinets

Eaton External battery cabinets (EBC) introduce safe and high quality enclosures for batteries – with the same look and feel as the Eaton 3ph UPS’s. Pre-fabricated cabinet reduces time and cost needed for installation. Front accessibility and hot swap battery cassettes or sliding battery trays ensures easy serviceability.

Eaton supercapacitor cabinets

Eaton supercapacitor cabinets for 3ph UPSs introduce a very low maintenance solution for short runtime (<1 min) applications. Supercapacitor provides a solution where traditional batteries cannot work - in hot environment, places with no possibility for hydrogen removal, areas requiring weight limitation or sites with no easy access for periodic replacement of batteries. They are easily scalable by adding an extra string in parallel with old capacitors.

Li-Ion solutions

Eaton UPS can operate with Li-Ion batteries that reduce installation foot print and weight while improving battery characteristics like temperature tolerance and service life.

UPS Battery Switchgear (UBS)

Eaton UPS battery switchgear (UBS) introduces battery breakers with protective enclosures to reduce time spent in designing and installing battery rack configurations.

External Maintenance Bypass Switches (MBS)

External Maintenance Bypass Switches (MBS) increase safety and reliability by enabling seamless transfers to bypass and isolation of the UPS system for maintenance.

Eaton 93 STS

Eaton 93 STS family provides Static Transfer Switches for seamless and reliable automatic transfer from one UPS to another.

Eaton synchronization options

Eaton Synchronization options keeps synchronization between UPS’s that are fed from separate power sources. This ensures minimal transfer times in Eaton 93 STS when switching from one UPS to another, thus minimizing inrush currents in motor loads during transfers.
