Eaton’s Tailored Solutions Help Solve Customer Aftermarket Issues

Date: October 2, 2017

LONDON … Power management company Eaton is highlighting a new, dedicated process to identify customer issues and to provide customized, fully approved solutions. Customers can learn more about the engineering and business resources it is dedicating to detecting and to eradicating aftermarket issues during MRO Europe, being held October 3-5 at the ExCeL convention center in London.

“We know that predictability is crucial to the aviation industry, and we’re committed to working closely with customers, distributors and aftermarket repair workshops to identify and solve component challenges,” said Mark Schmidt, vice president, Aftermarket Business, Eaton’s Aerospace Group. “Our team is dedicated not only to identifying the solution, but also to developing, testing and securing appropriate approval to get the right product directly into our customers’ aircraft.”

The process has already had demonstrated success in helping solve the needs of customers. For example, when a customer experienced pressure switch failures due to moisture ingress, Eaton’s engineering team built a new silicon sealing boot to protect vent holes from moisture entry, doubling the reliability of the product.

By actively seeking customers to share their issues and concerns with the team, Eaton is dedicated to finding a tailored response that improves reliability and reduces project and business risk for customers.
