xEnergy basic BP

xEnergy basic BP is a wall- or floor-mounted enclosure for electrical distribution systems up to 630 A. It is not only the smallest distribution board in our xEnergy family, but also the most flexible and versatile of the entire range. The variety of different types and sizes allows it to be used in almost every possible application.

Certified as a low-voltage distribution board that may be operated by non-experts in accordance with IEC/EN 61439-1/-2/-3 and IEC/EN 62208, xEnergy Basic BP is the ideal choice for electrical distribution systems in residential and functional buildings.

Designed to perform in harsh conditions, this aluminium enclosure combines durability, flexibility, and smart design - making it ideal for infrastructure, utility, and industrial applications.

With IP44 and IK10 protection, the cabinet is built to withstand rain, dust, and impact. Its corrosion-resistant aluminium body ensures long-term performance in coastal or polluted areas, while passive ventilation prevents condensation inside. The cabinet is fully compatible with Eaton’s ProfiSNAP system, and offers flexible mounting options - ground, wall, or mast.

ProfiSNAP - the new installation system

ProfiSNAP is based on an innovative front cover locking mechanism, which replaces the previous Profi+ system. The locking system of this new snap technology not only offers numerous safety features, but also significantly reduces the complexity and time required to assemble and disassemble the covers.

There is just one platform which enables two different ways of assembling the interior fitting, either via removable mounting insert (MSW) or fixed installation directly in the enclosure. It offers a customized setup depending on installation behavior and country-specific requirements.

Our user-friendly configurator for distribution boxes helps you to quickly design and calculate the distribution installation you need. With the help of a comprehensive symbol library, you can easily create an image of your planned system, and the software will then automatically generate the gross and net prices, mounting times and material lists.
