Human machine interface (HMI) and industrial PCs

XV100 HMI PLC

Eaton's Moeller  series XV100 touch display series offers compact, powerful and flexible solutions for all automation applications where space is limited. The devices can either be used as HMI control panels or optionally as HMI/PLC combinations with integrated PLC function. The XV100 devices are equipped with a TFT display with resistive-touch technology that is available in screen sizes in 3.5’’ / 5.7’’ / 7’’ inches. In addition to the built-in Ethernet interface, CAN, RS232 and RS485 interfaces and connection to SmartWire-DT are also available, depending on the device type.

HMI/PLC with XV-102 touch display

The XV-102 touch displays come as HMI operating panels or as versions with integrated PLC functionality, providing versatile solutions for various industries. Additionally, the XV-102 devices, available in 3.5-inch, 5.7-inch (4:3 format) and 7.0-inch (16:9 format) variants, provide a compact yet powerful solution for any automation application where space is limited. In addition to the Ethernet interface, CAN, RS232 and RS485 interfaces are also available, depending on the device type.

The XV-102 devices with an Embedded Linux operating system seamlessly integrate into Eaton CCoE’s ‘Defense in Depth’ cybersecurity concept. The devices boot from a write-protected memory, and only software signed by Eaton can be installed on the devices.

The Eaton Embedded Linux platform with real-time expansion and the GALILEO and CODESYS run-tim form the core of the products' software. The system is particularly reliable and its functions are constantly being developed. 

Perfectly combinable for any application

In low-complex applications the XV-102 devices can be used as an HMI solution in combination with the easyE4 control relay or be connected to our ultra-compact XN300 modular I/O system as an HMI-PLC solution. The device range creates the perfect device combination for any application.

Programming and visualization

The XV-102 touch displays PLCs can be programmed using XSOFT-CODESYS 3, while the visualization can be implemented using Eaton’s GALILEO 11 software. GALILEO is an intuitive and powerful engineering environment that takes little effort to master but meets every requirement involved in today‘s on-site machine operation. It is custom-tailored to the needs of the machine and systems building industry and reflects the latest developments in visualization technology.
