LALVIN R-HST yeast was obtained by natural selection from Austrian Riesling and is characterized by excellent basic properties such as rapid fermentation, good general fermentation and minor production of undesirable fermentation by-products. The selection took place over a period of several years from musts of the same location, which regularly produced top-quality products. LALVIN R-HST yeast keep the excellent Riesling structures and brings fine, varietal Riesling.
