XV300 HMI PLC

Eaton's Moeller series XV-303 and XV-313 touch panels stand out for their modern design and ease of use based on the intuitive operator interface of a smartphone or tablet. The devices are available as an HMI version or with integrated PLC functionality. They provide high system performance which, together with the powerful graphics processor, allows for the design of user interfaces in line with the latest standards. This enables both fast screen changes and highly responsive, state-of-the-art user interface with gestures and animations. The PLC function can be programmed using CODESYS version 3. And creating the user interface is easy, thanks to the intuitive GALILEO visualization software. In addition, it is also possible to implement the visualization via CODESYS.

XV-303

The XV-303 devices with PCT (projected capacitive touch) technology are designed for front mounting. Thanks to the multi-touch function, they can be intuitively operated using multiple fingers or even both hands. Just like on any modern touchpad or smartphone, operators can use two fingers to zoom and scroll. High-precision sensors prevent operating errors or accidental machine starts and thereby enhance the safety of the system. The devices feature an anti-reflective screen made from tempered glass that is also easy to clean. 7-inch, 10-inch and 15-inch displays are available, including versions with 16:9 aspect ratio.

XV-313

The XV-313 devices are designed for rear mounting. The panel is flush with the control console, resulting in a flat, edge-free surface in line with contemporary design requirements. As with the XV303, the capacitive multi-touch display supports the implementation of modern user interfaces (gesture control). 7-inch and 10-inch displays are available, including versions with 16:9 aspect ratio.

XV-363

The XV363 is an infrared touch panel for front mounting. It comes with a metal housing and a screen made from laminated safety glass with anti-reflective coating that is especially suited for use in harsh environments. 5.7-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch displays are available, each with 4:3 aspect ratio. The dimensions of the devices are identical with those of the XV400 series.

GALILEO visualisation software

The intuitive GALILEO visualisation software further enhances the functionality of the XV control devices. If the GALILEO WebVisu function is activated, the XV300 visualisation can also be accessed remotely from mobile devices.

SmartWire-DT on board

The XV300 series supports the SmartWire-DT communication system. As a result, embedding the devices in flexible automation solutions is easy, and requires fewer components as well as less engineering than conventional wiring. SmartWire-DT enables the integration of the communications and I/O level directly into the control, display and switching devices, and thereby opens up possibilities for new solutions that are at once creative and economical.

Programming with CODESYS

When used to implement an efficient HMI/PLC combination, the optional CODESYS-based PLC function enables the development of powerful and comprehensive programming functions. XV300 panels can be configured with either XSOFT-CODESYS Version 2 or Version 3. This way, you can rest assured that you will be able to use existing programs in the future, while also having the option of implementing new designs using the latest tools.
