Bimetal overload relays

Motor protection is one of the central tasks of the electrical equipment of any machine. The bimetal relays of the Eaton Moeller series offer the right solution for any application. The overload relays are UL/CSA and CCC approved which makes them suitable for global use. The ZE and ZB relays are also ATEX certified as protective devices for Ex-e motors.

Comprehensive bimetal solutions

The Z-series bimetal relays offer reliable protection in the event of phase failures and overloads, covering a current range up to 630 A. The motor protection relays comprise the following product series: Bimetal relay Z5 (suitable for DILM185A, DILM225A, DILM250A, DILM300A), bimetal relay ZE for use in combination with the small contactors DILEM, bimetallic relay ZB (suitable for DILM7 up to DILM170) and the transformer relay ZW7 for protection in case of heavy starting. The ZE and ZB relays are suitable for the protection of Ex electronic motors and can be directly mounted on DILM contactors with up to 300 A.
