Seismic cable kit solution

The B-Line series seismic bracing cable kit system is up to 50% faster to install over traditional cable bracing methods. Tested by an independent lab, the seismic cable kits are designed to brace non-structural equipment and distribution systems to help minimize damage in a seismic event.

Kit includes wire assembly and KwikWire clamp
Cut-to-length SKUs in 10 foot or 20 foot kits
Color tags for visual verification of correct wire size
Quickly wraps around open web bar joist, no drilling required
Clamp requires no tools to install

TOLCO Fig. 990 cable sway brace upper attachment

Designed to attach to the structure or structural attachment and is used with 7 x 19 strand core pre-stretched galvanized aircraft cable. The unique design allows the cable to easily slide into the oversized front arch opening and mounts to any surface angle. The breakaway hex nuts assure verification of proper torque and installation.

TOLCO Fig. 991 cable sway brace lower attachment

Designed to attach to the hanger rod and is used with 7 x 19 strand core pre-stretched galvanized aircraft cable. The unique “Fast-Attach” yoke design fits multiple rod sizes and allows for quick installation of the yoke to the hanger rod for both new and retrofit installations. Tightening the cone point set screw until the head breaks off ensures proper installation of the rod at the correct torque. The stackable design allows installation of both lateral and longitudinal braces, as well as opposing braces, to be easily installed on a single hanger rod, with no disassembly.

HCAI OPM pre-approved assemblies and engineering guidelines

Eaton’s HCAI OPM-0052-22 pre-approved assemblies’ catalog is a detailed reference guide to speed seismic bracing design review and bracing layout. The catalog includes Professional Engineered (PE) stamped assemblies, load data and installation diagrams for structural attachments, and featured TOLCO seismic bracing solutions, B-Line series pipe hangers and mechanical supports, strut systems, cable tray systems and more.
