RoLP LX Wall - Fire sounder visual alarm device (VAD)

The Fulleon RoLP LX Wall device is ideal for dual use applications where a visual alarm device (VAD) is required to support an audible alarm.

Recommended for wall use and requiring just one installation point, the RoLP LX Wall is available to use with any standard RoLP sounder such as the high output RoLP Maxi sounder.

As well as European EN54-23 certification, the RoLP LX Wall VAD has extensive country-specific AFNOR, CNBoP and AS certifications and models specific to NF and VDS approvals.

Compliant
Custom polycarbonate optics give maximum EN54-23 coverage with minimal power
Efficient
Zero start up surge due to soft-start technology
Convenient
'Base-only' option for retro-fitting existing RoLP sounders to certified base

Low current, maximum coverage with Eaton's "fit & forget" patented lens

The patented long life LED lens optics used in the LX have been developed specifically for the VAD EN54-23 standard.

It uses modern 'thick-mould' injection moulding techniques and innovative cylindrical output to achieve the correct level of illumination while keeping power consumption as low as possible.

A history that's deeply rooted in early communications technology

With over 2 million Roshni Low Profile (RoLP) sounders sold in the last 5 years alone, its dependability is apparent, but how did this conventional fire alarm sounder come to be? The brainchild of Fulleon, the RoLP was invented in 1980 by cleverly incorporating the technology used in telephone transducers. Now in its fifth generation, it has been one of the key building blocks of the then Fulleon, now Eaton product portfolio.

A simple way to upgrade your existing RoLP sounder

Developed with installation in mind, the RoLP LX base can be retro-fitted to any standard RoLP sounder in the Eaton range, including the high output RoLP Maxi sounder. Save time and money by simply upgrading to an LX base.

Minimise installation costs with maximum line loading

The 2nd generation of the LX now incorporates soft-start technology. This innovative feature constantly monitors the available voltage to give zero start up surge on the line, allowing maximum product loading. It can also detect line overloading and will indicate the fault with a rapid double flash.

One product platform, one alert. Synchronicity across the range.

The Roshni platform of Askari, Rolp, Flashni, CS200 and Squashni products all utilize the same legacy Fulleon 32 tone table, ensuring synhcronisation of all tones in an area using a variety of sounders.

Loud and Clear. Alerting when a life depends on it.

From commercial premises to off-shore oil platforms, an acoustic alert is typically the primary method of alarm.

Eaton has a library of over 100 industry-standard alerting tones to ensure that your notification is heard every time. Voice alert messages are available in multiple languages for fire evacuation, security or safety.

As one of the first certified EN54-23 VAD products on the market, the LX range has led the way in innovation. Now in it's 2nd generation, and with the integration of multiple addressable protocols, the LX range continues to be the prefered VAD.

Clear visual notification during an emergency; approved to EN54-23

VADs provide a clear signal of evacuation for any occupant that may not be alerted by an audible alarm due to working in a noisy environment like a factory, if they are hard of hearing or increasingly in office and educational environments due to wearing headphones.
