Final Distribution Boards

xComfort BC-A

xComfort BC series is available in a Surface-mounted distribution enclosure, and designed to be used in residential and commercial buildings. It includes a new updated series, xComfort BC-A2, with better and more updated features, complying to the modern requirements to offer the installer maximum versatility and ease of assembly and installation. BC-A empty enclosures are designed and approved according to EN 62208 and EN 60670-24 (empty cabinet for low-voltage switchboard) and comes with an extensive range of boards from 1 to 4 rows with a capacity to fit from 12 up to 54 module units.

In addition, the DIN-Rail rack can be completely removed for an efficient installation, and it can be positioned at two different heights, permitting the use of different sizes of circuit breakers.

It fulfills IP40/IK08, Protection Class II (fully insulated), ABS or Polystyrene plastic, white RAL 9003. The series includes both a version with protection class II, and another with protection class I (without rear wall), ensuring that you will find the right distribution board for any application or situation.

Thanks to the attractive design of the white door, these enclosures will blend into any environment.

It offers optimzed cable entries, N/PE screw type terminals, adjustable DIN Rail with two different positions to fit, ample space for wiring, and space for 12 to 54 module units.

Pre-wired final distribution boards - the choice is yours!

Select the right devices for your residential and light commercial project from a variety of standardized components and empty enclosures. Eaton provides you with all the technical information you need to create the design verification according to IEC/EN 61439-3 yourself. Alternatively, you can also choose a pre-wired final distribution board. In this case, Eaton will provide you with a documentation package including a detailed design verification. Focus on the essentials and let Eaton take care of the rest.

Eaton's BC-A empty enclosure meets the requirements of the IEC/EN 62208 standard and is therefore approved for use in low-voltage assemblies according to IEC/EN 61439-3.
