Redapt shaped adaptors (Y, T & angled)

Redapt explosionproof shaped adaptors provide an opportunity for installers to run cables in additional entries where pre-machine entries are limited or at an angle in confined or difficult situations.

Compared to traditional methods of creating additional entries in enclosures, Redapt shaped adaptors can reduce downtime from three weeks to one hour and cut total cost by half.

Designed for use in hazardous area applications, the full Redapt shaped adaptor range is certified to protection concept Exde "Flameproof" and the "Y" and "T" adaptors are also certified to Exd/Exe "Increased Safety".

Options in the shaped adaptors range

"T" Adaptors AT-U
The "T" adaptors have two angles of 90° and a 180° angle between entires.
"Y" Adaptors AY-U
The "Y" adaptor has an angle of 120° between each entry.
Angled Adaptors 90° AR-U
Available with either Male x Female or Female x Female connection threads.
Angled Adaptors AS-U
Several angles and threads are available on demand.
