Power Protect service
When purchasing a new or replacement rackmount UPS, selecting the right UPS for your environment is only the first step. After that comes removable of the old UPS, installation, start up, and ongoing maintenance and support. For IT pros tasked with managing dozens or hundreds of UPSs across multiple facilities, that one step can turn into a time consuming and backbreaking project.
It doesn't have to be, though.

The need for reliable backup power for network and IT equipment, especially in K-12 school districts, is undisputed. The E-Rate funding program provides much needed funding to libraries and K-12 schools to purchase hardware that increases their access to reliable, high-speed broadband internet and wifi. Rackmount UPSs with network cards, such as the ones available through the Power Protect service, are part of Category Two E-Rate funding. When purchasing Power Protect hardware and services for use with E-Rate funding, up to 50% of the purchase price is E-rate elligible.
