Crouse-Hinds series EFS explosionproof fire alarm control stations are used to provide immediate notification of a fire in the area. For installation in Class I and Class II areas which are hazardous due to the presence of flammable vapors, gases or highly combustible dusts, such as petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, and other process industry facilities where similar hazards exist.

As indicated under catalog listings, certain units can be supplied for Class I, Division 1, Group B (NEMA 7B). Seals must be installed within 1-1/2" of each conduit opening.

*Class I, Group B option: units can be modified for Class I, Division 1, Group B usage. Add suffix 'GB' to the end of the catalog number. Seals must be installed within 1-1/2" of each conduit opening.
