FAQ | Green Motion Charger Controller | Eaton

  1. Download the mobile application from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. 
  2. Create an account.
  3. Pair the charger. Follow the instructions on app carefully to pair your phone with Green Motion EV charger.

The online mode simply means that your EV charger is connected to the internet (via Wi-Fi). You can set it up during the activation/pairing process or later in the network setting. The online mode allows you to access all functionalities of your EV charger remotely. Please note that the offline mode only works when you are close to your EV charger.

Please make sure that you entered your credentials correctly. You can edit network settings of EV charger via app using Settings menu option.

By default, your EV charger is configured to charge automatically when plugged into a car. If your EV charger is located outside for example and you may want to restrict the access, you can do so in the settings menu. Please note that you will need to launch the charge manually each time.

Refer to the installation manual for connecting and configuring chargers for load balancing. Configuration and commissioning should be performed by a professional installer.
