The GH Series breaker offers the benefits of hydraulic-magnetic protection in a compact, economical design. Because of their ability to furnish both close-rated locked rotor protection and running overcurrent protection without derating in extreme and highly variable ambient conditions, they are popular in a variety of industries — air conditioning, electric heating, computer main frame and central processing, transportation and many others.
Standard maximum voltage: Breakers may be used at any 50/60 Hz voltage up to and including 480 V. All breakers will be labeled with the standard voltage unless otherwise specified. (All UL/CSA-listed models must be labeled with the standard maximum voltage of 480 Vac.) Consult factory for DC breakers rated 250 VDC Series up to 700 VDC at 100 A max, non-U/L or CSA.
Standard current ratings: 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 A at 480 V 50/50 Hz ac.
Special current ratings: Any integral or fractional current rating from 0.5 to 100 A ac. (Ratings below 15 A are not UL/CSA listed.) Interrupting capacities: Listed by UL/CSA for 14,000 A at 480 V, 50/0 Hz, three-phase, at 25% to 30% power factor, 7500 A on ratings below 15 A (non-UL).
