The CYMCAP 3D modelling module is a robust tool that optimises the installation of complex cable arrangements with multiple crossings, changes in direction or depth. 

Its methodology is based on IEC 60287, subdividing each cable into small components. This allows for the consideration of electrical connections and thermal interactions within the same cable and across different cables in the same installation. It uses an iterative method to compute temperature rise and heat dissipation, resulting in consistent thermal ratings that comply with international standards. 

The CYMCAP 3D modelling module has been extensively tested and validated by international experts, making it a reliable and efficient cable design and installation solution. Results are also consistent with IEC 60287 for cables in parallel and crossing. 

By using this module, you can enhance the performance of your cable systems, reduce costs and prevent potential problems associated with cable failures or overheating.
