What did you want to be when you were a child growing up? 
When I was a child I wanted to be a President of the Mars.

What education / degree did you study?
I've started my career in Eaton after my bachelor degree in Engineering informatics. I continued my studies within distance study programs and achieved 2 master degrees in Business Informatics and Software Engineering for Embedded systems.

What on-the-job technical specialist training have you had at Eaton?
Cybersecurity training for C/C++ developers, Java 9 Oracle training.

Did you always see yourself in your current career?
Yes, It is legacy of my family. My grandmother was a great engineer and worked in industrial automation in 60s.

What are your current responsibilities?
New device development with focus on the firmware development and testing. Software development and customers support for the gateway.

What does the future look like for you?
I would like to continue as a team leader, to be a subject specialist in product development.

Software Engineer.

Which of the STE[a]M subjects do you most relate to and why?
Technology and engineering. Unfortunately, at my daily work I cannot say that I'm doing science, but I work with the most attractive technologies and concepts, such as IoT and wireless communication.

Who/what inspires you the most?
I'm inspired by my grandmother's life and want her to be proud of me. The new technologies, problem solving and challenging work, inspire me everyday.
