Crouse-Hinds series CEAG GHG 981 explosion-protected safety switches are approved for use in Zone 22 explosive dust atmospheres, and feature an IP66 ingress protection rating. With their padlocking facilities, they can be used as a load break switch to provide the safety you require.

Available in fiberglass-reinforced polyester, powder coated sheet steel and electropolished stainless steel, GHG 981 switches are robust and corrosion-resistant, and are ideal for use in hazardous area environments with extreme ambient temperatures from -55°C to +55°C.

GHG 981 safety switches are available in 3-, 4- or 6-pole versions in sizes ranging from 25A to 800A.
