Eaton's HC8LP family high current power inductors are designed for higher speed switch mode applications requiring low voltage and high current, in a low profile surface mount package. Their design utilizes high temperature iron powder alloy material with a non-organic binder to eliminate thermal aging. The HC8LP family has an inductance range from 0.17 uH to 47.9 uH, current range from 1.7 A to 56 A and frequency range from 1 kHz to 500 kHz.
HC8LP power inductors can be used in several applications including multi-phase regulators, voltage regulator modules (VRMs), distributed power systems DC-DC converters, desktop and server VRMs and EVRDs, point-of-load (POL) modules, field programmable gate array (FPGA) DC-DC converters, battery power systems, high current power supplies, data networking and storage systems.
