Things you will only see at Eaton's Power Systems Experience Centers

Ever wonder how electricity works? Here at Eaton's Power Systems Experience Center, you'll see first hand how electrical systems are designed and built. See unique demos like the water analogy, microgrid, harmonics, surge, UPS, supercaps and more.

Users of electricity have always had the need to meter electricity usage, voltage, and current

Surges typically come from lightning, utility disturbances, and home appliances turning on/off. The earliest needs to monitor voltage were to ensure the electric supply had the capacity and stability to power the load. Monitoring amperage (current) ensured conductors were appropriately sized and circuitry or equipment was not being damaged by excessive current loads.
