3-Channel input/output device for addressable fire systems
The 3 channel I/O unit enables simple interfacing between the fire system and other equipment, such as nurse call systems or access control systems. The inputs are fully monitored for open and short circuits. Three models of the 3 channel I/O unit are available: resets on reset, resets on silent alarms and resets on reset and is recognised as 3 addresses.
The unit takes 3 separate outputs and inputs with only 1 address required to monitor and control the device, so saving on equipment and installation time. It is also soft addressed meaning no hard addressing is required making installation even quicker and easier. Fixed to a deep double gang back box which its supplied, the unit boasts a flexible and efficient design allowing the device to be surface or recessed mounted.
Control and monitor more from the panel
The unit can be used for both fire and non-fire applications. Fire signal inputs include door release mechanisms while non-fire inputs include active panel functions including access control and nurse call systems.
