What are the extended battery module (EBM) options for the Ferrups FX UPS?

The Ferrups FX comes with several EBM options with varying runtimes in two convenient form factors. Each Ferrups FX features a 20-amp charger standard and can support up to four EBMs to support mission-critical long runtime applications. Do EBMs have to be arranged directly next to the UPS?

To provide plenty of room to adjust installation as needed, Ferrups FX EBMs will be include a 9-foot cable.

What network card should be used with the Ferrups FX UPS?

Ferrups FX is compatible with Eaton’s latest cybersecure network cards. Specifically, Ferrups FX is designed to be used with the Gigabit Network Card, Relay Card-MS, Industrial Relay Card-MS, and Industrial Gateway card.

Can the Ferrups FX be used in conjunction with a generator?

Ferrups FX UPS is compatible with generators. Please consult our pre-sales engineering teams to ensure proper generator sizing.

Does the Ferrups FX have a static bypass?

Since the Ferrups FX contains a ferroreonant transformer design, it does not feature a static switch. The Ferrups FX is a line-interactive UPS that is enhanced and ruggedized by the presence of its ferroreonant transformer.

Does the Ferrups FX support third-party batteries?

The Ferrups FX does support third party batteries as long as the UPS and third party battery solution have the same DC bus voltage. Please consult Eaton pre-sales engineering to confirm prior to quotation and installation.

Does the Ferrups FX support legacy FERRUPS 48 Vdc batteries?
