xEnergy Safety Ci

Eaton's xEnergy Safety modular power distribution system is a multi-box-type, low-voltage switchgear assembly according to IEC/EN 61439-2. Made from polycarbonate, it has been designed to meet the most stringent requirements, including corrosion protection, for applications up to 1600 A. These fully insulated distribution enclosures provide IP65 degree of protection and can withstand almost any type of environmental impact, such as dust, moisture and water.

Special protection against extreme switching arcs

Thanks to the spring-loaded fittings in the cover, the CI enclosure offers special protection against extreme switching arcs. This mechanism provides pressure relief by lifting the cover by a few millimetres and then closing it again immediately.

The future starts now - NZM circuit breaker - compact, reliable, innovative

With only four frame sizes, Eaton's NZM series of circuit breakers cover rated currents from 20 to 1600 A. They are also optimally matched to each other and meet the demands of a wide range of applications. We took a close look at what customers really want and designed the product accordingly. What stands out, for example, is the comprehensive portfolio of accessories, which can be individually assembled and easily installed in line with specific application requirements. The same goes for the flexible terminals, which offer increased operational safety thanks to the different covers on offer. The xEnergy Safety Ci distribution boards with a short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 50 kA also incorporate our tested and verified NZM circuit breakers up to 1600 A.

Maximum operational safety

Thanks to the transparent smoke gray covers, operators can check the status of the switchgear at a glance. In addition, non-transparent covers and covers with integrated cylinder lock are also available.

xEffect K-type terminals

The Eaton terminals are designed for copper strips or busbars as well as copper conductors. Each terminal pair is molded in a plastic Duroplast shell. Six frame sizes and a wide range of options are available as standard, with terminal cross-sections from 16 to 3 x 240 mm² (160 to 1000 A). We offer 1-pole, 3-pole, 4-pole and 5-pole terminal combinations, as well as accessories such as a transparent plastic cover, auxiliary conductor terminals or conversion kits that enable you to customize the terminals. The xEnergy Safety Ci distribution boards with a short-circuit rating of up to 50 kA incorporate both the xEffect K-type terminals and our proven NZM circuit breakers.
